General Terms and Conditions
1.Introduction Welcome to The Neuro Therapist Academy (“the Company”). We provide education, coaching, and mentoring services to health professionals working in rehabilitation. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before engaging with our programs. 2. Services Provided The Company offers a range of educational, coaching, and mentoring services tailored for rehabilitation professionals. These services may be delivered online, in-person, or in hybrid formats. Our programs aim to provide knowledge enhancement, professional development, and skill-building opportunities. All services are for single individual use only and must not be shared, redistributed, or accessed by multiple users without prior written consent from the Company. 3. Eligibility Our services are available to licensed or registered health professionals working in rehabilitation or those in training for such roles. By using our services, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria. All courses, coaching, and mentoring sessions are conducted in English. Participants must have a sufficient level of English proficiency to engage effectively with course materials and discussions. 4. Enquiries Prospective participants or organizations may make enquiries about our services through the website contact forms or via email without any obligation to proceed. We aim to respond to all enquiries within a reasonable timeframe. 5. Booking and Payment 5.1. Course fees and coaching/mentoring session rates are outlined on our website or provided upon request. 5.2. Payments must be made in full before accessing the services unless otherwise agreed in writing. 5.3. We accept payments via PayPal or BACS transfer. 5.4. Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or cancellation of access to services. 5.5. Organizations may request to be invoiced for course and mentoring services. Invoices must be paid within 30 days of issuance and within 10 working days before accessing services. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by law. 5.6. The Company reserves the right to suspend access to services for organizations with overdue invoices until full payment is received. 6. Cancellations and Refunds 6.1. Participants may cancel their booking up to 10 days before the start date for a full refund. 6.2. Once service delivery has commenced, cancellations will not be eligible for a full refund. Any cancellations made after the start of service delivery will incur a fee for work completed up to the cancellation date, as well as an administrative fee of £25. 6.3. When block booking services, dates can be rearranged more than 48 hours in advance without additional charge if unforeseen circumstance. Cancellation within 48 hours will result in the session being charged as per normal. Repeated rearrangements and cancellations may result in cancellation of service, in which all sessions up to the point of cancellation whether attended or not will be charged, as well as an administrative fee of £25. 6.4. The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative session or a full refund. 7. Confidentiality and Data Protection 7.1. We respect your privacy and comply with data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 7.2. Personal information collected during registration and participation is used solely for service delivery, communication, and internal record-keeping. 7.3. Coaching and mentoring sessions may involve discussions of sensitive or professional matters. We maintain confidentiality, except where disclosure is required by law. 7.4. We have procedures in place to ensure compliance with GDPR, including data minimization, secure storage of personal data, and access control. 7.5. Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward instructors, mentors, and fellow participants. 8.2. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the program without a refund. 8.3. Unauthorized distribution, reproduction, or sharing of course materials is strictly prohibited. Any individual or organization found copying, distributing, or reselling course materials without explicit permission may face legal action, including but not limited to financial penalties and claims for damages. This includes all material including written, images and video. 8.4. Participants must adhere to appropriate online behaviour, including but not limited to refraining from harassment, offensive language, or inappropriate content in online discussions, forums, and virtual sessions. Any violations may result in immediate removal from the program without a refund. 9. Intellectual Property 9.1. All course content, materials, and resources provided by the Company remain the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors. Copyright in all materials is owned exclusively by the Company. 9.2. Participants are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the materials for personal and professional development only. 9.3. Unauthorized reproduction, resale, or modification of materials is prohibited without written consent. Any infringement of copyright may result in legal action, including but not limited to financial penalties and claims for damages. 9.4. If any of the Company’s materials are used in academic work, they must be appropriately referenced in accordance with standard citation practices. 10. Liability and Disclaimer 10.1. The Company provides educational and mentoring services for professional development purposes only. Our services do not constitute medical, legal, or financial advice. 10.2. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or career advancements from participation in our programs. 10.3. Academic Review Service Specific Terms and Conditions
1. By signing up to this service, you agree to send your original work and any further documentation requested to the reviewer to support their provision of feedback. In reviewing of dissertation work, we will NEVER ask to see personalised participant data. 2. Documents uploaded must be FINAL versions that you want reviewed. Once we confirm receipt of documents and payment and commence proofreading, a change in documents (i.e., newer\different version) will incur an additional fee of £10 per document. 3. The Neuro Therapist Academy will always keep your work confidential and will not share the details with other parties. 4. All written work submissions must be in English. 5. Use of this service does not guarantee a specific grade boundary. We will always provide feedback to support and enhance your work in bid to support achievement, however responsibility for end grade lies with the learner. 6. We will always abide by plagiarism rules and regulations. All work submitted to us should be the original work of the learner. It is the responsibility of the learner to ensure that they avoid plagiarism at all times. 7. We will NEVER write work for a learner. We will annotate a provided document with written feedback that the learner can then choose how they use that feedback to develop their work. 8. If user wishes to discuss the feedback to obtain greater understanding, then an additional service for virtual meeting can be provided at additional cost. This does not form standard part of academic review service and needs to be requested. 9. Our pricing structure is based on the number of words required to be reviewed. When reviewing dissertation work, it is possible to pay only for one chapter to be reviewed, or for the whole piece of work. Payment is required up front at the time of submission of work. 10. All requests for academic services must be performed through the website completing form required. Acceptance of contract to provide services is not formed until The Neuro Therapist Academy has formally agreed to undertake review, and payment has been provided. 11. The Neuro Therapist Academy will aim to provide feedback within two-week period. Negotiation on this timescale can be made by both parties at the point of contract creation, however in using this service, the learner accepts responsibility for ensuring sufficient time to enable review to be undertaken and feedback to be provided. 12. The Neuro Therapist Academy will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these terms and Conditions and both parties released from their respective obligations if the delay or failure is caused by any circumstances beyond both parties’ reasonable control, including but not limited to: fire, explosion, flood, war (or similar events such as national emergency or civil unrest), industrial disputes, technical failure, or any other similar event that renders the performance of obligations impossible. 13. In the event of illness or sudden unforeseen unavailability The Neuro Therapist Academy will notify the client as soon as reasonably practicable and will use their best endeavours to ensure that the agreed deadline is maintained. However, if the deadline cannot be met in such circumstances, an extended deadline will be agreed by both parties and will not affect the agreed fee payable. In extreme circumstances were this is not possible; a full refund will be provided. 14. You have the right to cancel the contract before work has commenced without charge and before payment has been provided and documents submitted. 15. Termination after submission will result in percentage payment based on amount of review occurred, plus an administrative charge. 16. This service is a professional service designed to provide you feedback, while we will include an element of proof reading and grammatical correction as part of that we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. 17. The Neuro Therapist Academy cannot be held responsible for direct, indirect, special, or consequential losses of costs incurred by any errors remaining in your work, be they factual or grammatical. The final responsibility for errors remains with you. 18. It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure that engagement with our services does not violate any academic institutions policy. The Neuro Therapist Academy holds no responsibility or liability if you fail to enquire. It is also recommended that you advise your tutor/supervisor that you have employed are academic review services. 19. We are confident that we will provide you with a high-quality service, however, should you wish to make an official complaint, you must do so within 14 working days of having received the edited document back from us. If you breach any of the Terms and Conditions you will be held responsible for any legal claim for expenses, liability, and financial losses (including legal fees) incurred by The Neuro Therapist Academy, as caused by your breach. 21.
